Pharmaceutical Division is one of the leading figures in the field of various medicines. That provides active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates and dosage formulation for pharmaceutical companies by utilizing original and Itochu Corporation's global network. Of course, it has an organization for supporting pharmaceutical regulatory issues in Japan, for example, in-country agency of MF, and accreditation of foreign manufacturers and GMP suitability inspection of manufacturers.

Pharmaceutical Dept.

This dept. consists of Pharmaceutical Section No. 1 and No. 2.
Pharmaceutical section No. 1 focuses on the primary care field which is considered as important sector in the recent highly aged society. Public concern about lifestyle-related disease such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipemia is growing... Our Section provides raw materials for medicine to meet such requirements. We are focusing on synthesis of intermediates under cGMP, and import of pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) to Japan from across the world.
Pharmaceutical section No. 2 specializes in high-potency pharmaceuticals related to the fields such as Antibiotics, Oncology products, Hormone, Biological products, Peptides and Recombinant preparations. Our section provides intermediates, active pharmaceutical ingredients and finish dosage formulations of these high-potency pharmaceuticals, not only for the pharmaceutical companies in Japan, but also to the overseas pharmaceutical companies.

Pharmaceutical Administration & Development Section

This section conducts Regulatory affairs including DMF and Accreditation registration, Researching products and supplier, Patent research, GMP inspection with PMDA (Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Agency), and Quality control for the purpose of the creation of API and FDF business between clients and foreign supplier. Additionally we have very important function to strictly check and evaluate API at our own laboratories, and win a client and supplier's trust.
